I didn't even realize there was this little guy on the flower until after I downloaded it! i love the pic even more now that not only did the flower come out nice but so did that little fly guy.:) Any help is identifying him and the flower would be greatly appreciated.:)

BTW Thanks to :iconduggiehoo: I found out this insect is a Syrphid fly, aka common name Hover Fly. Thanks for the help with the id.

This pic has been entered into the July Competition :Yellow for :iconmacro-beginners-club:

Thanx.:) These flowers grow wild in the field behind my fire dept. No clue what kind they are but I too think they are really nice looking. The little hover fly coming out as nicely as it did was a really cool bonus.:)

Lol, I just posted on someone elses photo about how little bugs always manage to sneak into photos and noone realizes it until later! I've had that happen so many times!

 Usually they end up messing up the pic b/c I don't have my camera focused to include them. Or they are blurry b/c I get the pic just as they are flying or clawing in. With this guy I was so happy that it came out as nice as it did.:) I think he really makes the pic even better.:)

Thank you! :) I tried looking online this morning but I got frustrated that I couldn't find anything and gave up! I normally have a lot of patience with this kind of stuff and I actually enjoy researching things. However with my wedding a few weeks away...my patience has gone out the window! I can't wait until this wedding is over with so I can get back to my normal life!
