A female jumping spider that hung out on my porch all summer.
And she was HUGE!!! Well for a jumping spider...about the size of my pinky nail. Such a pretty jumper too! I love those emerald green mandibles of her's.
Oh and she is in a jar that I am holding in this shot. A lot of jumpers can be pretty tolerant of being handled but she was a bit...well...jumpy!
So to get a decent photo of her, without her freaking and trying to get away, I had to catch her up in a jar. But I put her back in with my plants right afterwards.
